RENT THE MOVIE

Licenses for viewing the documentary “Mirabile Visione: Inferno”

Thanks to rental licenses, you can play the documentary easily, legally, and flexibly. You can choose the option that best suits your needs by consulting the three formulas below, contacting us at info@starwaymultimedia.it

To organise a school screening at the cinema, you need to tell us which cinema you would like to use (usually the one that is easiest to reach), and we will contact them to find out the ticket price and the minimum number of pupils required, and, if necessary, agree on a date with the cinema operator.

The ticket price generally varies between €4 and €5, and admission is always free for teachers, accompanying adults and DVA pupils. With a few rare exceptions, all Italian cinemas are available and most of them have already scheduled our film for schools.

In ‘single event at school’ mode, the film is available at a cost of €3 per pupil, for a minimum of 10 pupils: for more than 30 pupils, this unit cost decreases in proportion to the expected number of participating pupils (teachers and pupils with special educational needs are exempt).

It can be screened in the classroom, simultaneously in several classrooms, in the lecture hall, auditorium or other suitable space within the school: only the number of students communicated to us will be valid. The link to the film (1080p quality, password-protected Vimeo platform) will be provided a few days in advance, with a password that will only work on the chosen date(s). Payment can be made by the school or by the private individual responsible for the initiative (by bank transfer, Postepay or PayPal).

If payment is to be made by a private individual (e.g. teacher), the payment slip (or slips, provided there is a single contact person) must be submitted at least one day before the chosen date.

This option is reserved for school administrators and offers the school the opportunity to purchase the film as educational material.

The cost, which is predefined, is based on the number of students enrolled and the duration (annual, biennial or triennial). It will allow you to receive, free of charge, the exclusive box set of “Mirabile Visione Inferno” (not for sale) containing the DVD, BLURAY and dedicated streaming link, which can be used only within the institution, without limits (except, of course, for unauthorised duplication and/or distribution).

The costs will be communicated to your contact person at a later date.

About two years after its release, Mirabile Visione Inferno has been seen by over 120,000 students throughout Italy, between cinema and school screenings: an unprecedented result for a documentary, thanks to the enthusiasm it arouses, especially among young people.

The mission of the documentary film, aimed at students from the second year of middle school and all high school classes, is to spark their interest in the cultural, civil, political, and above all human and spiritual importance of Dante. Guided in their descent into the underworld by Professor Argenti (Benedetta Buccellato) and Father Guglielmo (Luigi Diberti), the evils of contemporary society are analyzed: each circle of Hell is reinterpreted in a modern key, highlighting the contradictions of our time, but at the same time conveying a message of hope and renewal.

Particularly significant is the figure of Professor Argenti, who highlights the fundamental role of teachers, similar to Virgil for Dante. The ending of the documentary film manages to arouse enthusiasm and deep feelings in the students, culminating in open applause. This appreciation was also confirmed at the end of the screening events at Italian Cultural Institutes in various cities around the world, including São Paulo, Brussels, Vancouver, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Miami, San Salvador, Guatemala City, Kinshasa, Berlin, Paris, and many others scheduled. Another element of success is the multidisciplinary approach that, through the Divine Comedy, explores various fields: from literature to art, from history to current events. In addition, many places and cultural sites are presented, from northern to southern Italy and other parts of the world.

The use of archival materials is also important, integrating with the film’s multiple artistic expressions, including the works of Parma painter Francesco Scaramuzza, recolored and animated for the occasion. The original soundtrack (now available on streaming platforms, CD, and vinyl) was produced with the involvement of two of the world’s finest orchestras: in Prague, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, known for its collaboration with Ennio Morricone on the Oscar-winning soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight”; in Milan, the Milan Symphony Orchestra, which has been conducted by Riccardo Chailly, among others, with seventy members. These prestigious collaborations have contributed to making Fabrizio Campanelli and Enrico Goldoni’s soundtrack for “Mirabile Visione: Inferno” a memorable one, with a depth worthy of the greatest international cinema.

The documentary film has received numerous sponsorships, including from the Ministry of Culture and the Dante Alighieri Society, and will be distributed abroad in various languages by NEXO Studios (https:// www.nexostudios.it/international/).
